Radically Inclusive

Oppression seeks to divide us based on our differences. It keeps us isolated and ashamed, and that, in turn, affects our self-esteem, mental health and sense of belonging. We believe that therapy can only be a tool for resistance and liberation if it is radically inclusive, working affirmatively at the intersections of identity.

We welcome LGBTQ+ and gender diverse individuals, those who are curious or questioning as well as those in non-monogamous or polyamorous constellations. We also welcome folks with disabilities and chronic illness, neurodivergence and individuals from a working class background.

One To One Therapy

Our sessions are tailored to your culture and lived experience, and we offer trauma-aware support that is grounded in decolonial and anti-oppressive values. We acknowledge that marginalised communities often have negative experiences when getting support for their mental health, therefore, we work in collaboration with you to get you from where you are to where you want to be. Our specialisms include trauma, relationship issues, workplace stress and difficulties with mood (such as anxiety and depression). Our fees are £70 per session.

Couples Therapy

We support racialised and mixed race couples to reduce conflict, rebuild trust, improve intimacy and communication during all stages of the relationship. We specialise in psychosexual and relationship issues, pre-marital counselling, navigating transitions and major life events, pregnancy, infertility and baby loss and negotiating the end of a relationship. Our fees are £90 per session.

Group Therapy

Research shows that, for communities of colour, group therapy delivers improved mental health, a reduction of stress and trauma and greater wellbeing, as it provides a safe space to share racialised experiences with people who can relate. Our therapist-led groups align with decolonial and indigenous healing practices and promote community-based transformation and shared solidarity. Our groups are friendly and gentle, there is no pressure to talk about anything that doesn’t feel comfortable and we welcome newbies and those with multiple marginalised identities. Our fees are £12 per session.

Low Cost Therapy

Our low cost clinic is run by Black and PoC trainees who are supported by experienced supervisors who are also from the Global Majority. Our student counsellors receive specialist training on anti-oppressive practice, culturally responsive therapy and African-Centred approaches. Sessions are offered weekly and are available on an open-ended basis. To sign up for low cost therapy, book an assessment with a qualified therapist and you will then be matched to a practitioner who is suited to your needs. Our fees are £35 per session.
